Concept
The Ebony Hunter Pro comes from the same workshop as the 2016 Readers' Choice Award Winner of Messer Magazin.
For fans of fixed-blade knives, the Ebony family has been rounded out with a classic hunter.
The ebony handle scales are secured with three stainless steel screw rivets.
The blade steel is AUS-10, a proven Japanese knife steel similar in composition to 440C, with an extra amount of vanadium for better edge retention.
The spine of the blade is fluted for one-third of its length, providing a non-slip thumb rest and an interesting appearance. The blade features the proven classic hollow grind.
Thanks to the ergonomically shaped handle, the knife sits securely in the hand and provides a comfortable feel.
The knife comes in a solid quiver sheath made of black saddle leather.

Care
- Cleaning: After use, you should clean the knife under running water with a mild soap. Avoid washing the knife in the dishwasher, as this can lead to damage.
- Drying: Dry the knife thoroughly immediately after washing to prevent rust formation. It is best to use a soft cloth for this.
- Storage: Store the knife in a dry place where it cannot come into contact with other metal objects. A knife roll or a knife block are ideal storage options.
- Sharpening: Sharpen the knife regularly with a suitable whetstone or sharpener. A sharp knife cuts better and is safer to use.
- Cutting Surface: Use a suitable cutting surface made of wood or plastic for cutting. Avoid cutting on hard surfaces such as stone or metal, as this can damage the blade.
