Concept
The aesthetically pleasing Elch Master V knife is a simple fixed-blade knife with a red Pakkawood handle.
The riveted full tang extends through the handle at full strength and has an eyelet at the end.
The 440C blade is hollow-ground and leads to a practical guard. 440C is also known as surgical steel. Due to its high acid and rust resistance, coupled with excellent edge retention, it is used for surgical instruments like scalpels.
The beautiful handle scales are made of Pakkawood. Pakkawood consists of many layers of hardwood bonded together with phenolic resin under high pressure and temperature. Pakkawood is particularly characterized by its resistance to moisture and temperature fluctuations. Due to its stability, the wood is also used as stock material for precision rifles.
The knife comes with a handmade brown leather sheath with a belt loop.

Care
- Cleaning: After use, you should clean the knife under running water with a mild soap. Avoid washing the knife in the dishwasher, as this can lead to damage.
- Drying: Dry the knife thoroughly immediately after washing to prevent rust formation. It is best to use a soft cloth for this.
- Storage: Store the knife in a dry place where it cannot come into contact with other metal objects. A knife roll or a knife block are ideal storage options.
- Sharpening: Sharpen the knife regularly with a suitable whetstone or sharpener. A sharp knife cuts better and is safer to use.
- Cutting Surface: Use a suitable cutting surface made of wood or plastic for cutting. Avoid cutting on hard surfaces such as stone or metal, as this can damage the blade.
