Knife Stand in Japanese Design
For the modern kitchen, we have developed attractive knife stands in the Japanese tradition.
Our knife stands are ideal for storing kitchen knives. They have the advantage that the knives are immediately at hand and are stored safely and hygienically. In addition, your high-quality kitchen knives can be attractively presented on the stand in the kitchen.
The stands are handcrafted from rubberwood. This wood belongs to the class of hardwoods. It is characterized by its attractive, fine grain and is resistant to moisture. The wood comes from sustainable cultivation in Southeast Asia.
The subtle, delicate appearance of the stands allows your knives to be shown off to their full optical advantage.
We offer the stands in three sizes for one, three, and five knives.
It is intended that the knives be stored with the blade facing upwards, like samurai swords. This offers the advantage that finely ground, sharp blades do not come into contact with the stand material.

Care
- Cleaning: After use, you should clean the knife under running water with a mild soap. Avoid washing the knife in the dishwasher, as this can cause damage.
- Drying: Dry the knife thoroughly immediately after washing to prevent rust formation. It is best to use a soft cloth for this.
- Storage: Store the knife in a dry place where it cannot come into contact with other metal objects. A knife sheath or a knife block are ideal storage options.
- Sharpening: Sharpen the knife regularly with a suitable whetstone or sharpener. A sharp knife cuts better and is safer to use.
- Cutting surface: Use a suitable cutting surface made of wood or plastic for cutting. Avoid cutting on hard surfaces such as stone or metal, as this can damage the blade.
